Just back from Lexington, KY, where fighting Iris played the Midwest MusiCon. Couldn't have asked for nicer people, better shows, more positive response.
 
All in all, it was VERY worthwhile experience. Can't mention names yet, but word of our Kentucky adventure seems to have reached some people with whom we are DEFINITELY interested in talking ... stay tuned for more!

fighting Iris debut last night, at 14below, in Santa Monica.
 
We musicians can be very obsessive about " the technical stuff ", but last night was the perfect example of how passion always wins out over polish!
 
That Murphy guy ( you know, the one who wrote that law ) turned up, and we had an array of technical glitches ( poor Chad had guitar nightmares! ). Not the smoothest show ... but the energy was DEFINITELY there ... and the crowd ( packed house, yay! ) seemed to love it.
 
A great start ... and onward ( and upward ) we go!
